Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a procedure that aims to correct labial hypertrophy or elongated labia minora to alleviate the pain and discomfort caused by friction and chafing during exercise or sexual intercourse. During the labiaplasty procedure the tissue of the labia minora is reduced and re-shaped so that it does not protrude beyond the labia majora, providing a neat, tucked-in appearance. Vaginoplasty is an effective procedure to restore sensation and tightness to the vagina where vaginal laxity is a concern. Changes that routinely occur during childbirth, menopause, weight gain/weight loss, and chronically increased abdominal pressure can all cause vaginal floor relaxation or laxity. During the vaginoplasty procedure excess vaginal mucosal lining is removed and the levator ani muscles are approximated to strengthen the pelvic floor and create a tightened internal structure of the vagina. Vaginoplasty also reduces the diameter of the vaginal opening and increases the elasticity of the vaginal muscles. The procedure restores the vagina and supports surrounding anatomy, such as the bladder, thereby improving urinary incontinence.

Clitoral Hood Reduction
An enlarged clitoral hood may hang over the clitoris in a way that obstructs access to the clitoris. Clitoral Hood Reduction removes excess tissue surrounding the clitoris for an improved aesthetic while also allowing for the clitoris to be unobstructed, allowing for better physical sensation during intimacy. The clitoris is not operated on by the surgeon so as to not alter the function of the clitoris itself. This procedure can be customized however if more exposure of the clitoris is desired than is typically provided with standard Hoodectomy. Hoodectomy is very commonly performed at the same time as labiaplasty to achieve an optimal and streamlined aesthetic appearance.

As a result of childbirth, the area separating the vagina and anus (the perineum) is damaged by tearing and/or episiotomy incision. The damage, if not healed well, can give rise to painful, unsightly scarring. Even though minor cuts, abrasions, and tears usually heal independently, more severe injuries often require surgical intervention.
